Cross Plains ISD is accepting applications for a full-time Cafeteria / Nutrition Worker.

Position Details
Job Title: Cafeteria / Nutrition Worker
Reports To: Cafeteria Manager
Component: Nutrition
Pay Grade: District pay scale based on experience ($12.09 – $14.58/hour)
Days of Employment: 174

Qualifications
* High school diploma or GED
* Knowledge of kitchen equipment and food production

Major Responsibilities & Duties

* Prepare and serve meals to students and staff
* Work effectively as part of a team
* Maintain kitchen cleanliness and sanitation standards
* Follow guidelines established by USDA, TDA, and the Texas Department of State Health
Services

Physical Demands / Environmental Factors
* Continual standing, walking, pushing, and pulling
* Frequent stooping, bending, and kneeling
* Moderate to heavy lifting and carrying
* Adjusted workday hours may be required

Training & Requirements
* Completion of New Employee Orientation Training
* Attendance at program training sessions and informational updates
* Ability to pass a fingerprint background check
